So the Ravens have given up on the Soap Opera that is Jamal Lewis and shipped him off to the Cleveland Browns (who used to be the team that is now the Baltimore Ravens....got it?).

Now they pick up Willis McGahee to replace him. Ravens' coach Billick calls him a "dynamic back", which I guess means he can catch passes out of the backfield.

As a Steeler fan, I think the Raven's offense is less formidable with McGahee than Lewis and I think the Browns may be a better team with Jamal (assuming he can stay out of jail).

What do the boys in Balitmore and Cleveland think?

Now I'm not in Baltimore or Cleveland, but I'm a big Ravens fan. Sad to see Jamal go, just because I like him as a RB (He got sex appeal to). He was doing his thing for awhile in B-More. I think it's kind of a lateral move for Baltimore, because who can say for sure what the outcome will be until McGahee is intergrated into the offense. And shows he can produce. He's definitely a great RB, so I'm REALLY interested to see what happens. He got some legs on him.
Haven't watched The Browns all that much, but with Jamal on the roster I guess I'll tune in. Can't wait til September.

Gotta agree that Lewis wins over McGahee in the sex appeal dept.

I was shocked when the Ravens fell apart in the playoffs last year, so maybe the change will be good for them.

Yeah it surprised me too. But in the play-offs you never know what to expect. Some teams crack under the pressure. Other teams come out of the background and surprise everyone. New Season, new expectations. We shall see.
