It can be anything really. I just like to hear people be positive from time to time in the midst of everything seeming hectic.

-I'm pretty proud of being who I am. I'm still working the kinks of being totally comfortable but it's a work in progress and I am progressing.
-I like how much strength I've gained since I've started lifting weights.
-I like that I get to play video games for a second job on Youtube

    Now you! icon_biggrin.gif

Haha yea I loved the first two games and had them both but disliked the one for the 360. It was way too hard lol

But as far as Banjo Kazooie as a series I really liked the concept of the game and the plot

    I'm proud that:

    • I have survived 64 (soon to be 65) years of life on Earth.
    • I'm out and gay in a generally homophobic world
    • I've loved and been loved and still am loved
    • I've lost 70lbs of flab in the past two years (15 to 20 more to go!)
    • I'm finally coming out of my shell after losing two partners and a best friend
    • I finally feel good enough about myself to join this forum (after having it bookmarked for TWO YEARS!)
    • I've created some beautiful paintings and other art in my life
    • I have such wonderful friends, some I've known for over a quarter century
    • I've met so many amazing and wonderful people in my life
    • I've finally started writing creatively (something I've wanted to do for many years)
    • I stopped smoking cigarettes (cold turkey)
    • I've cleaned up my diet (I'm a sugar addict)
    • I love animals, trees, young people, sunsets, flours, balmy breezes, mountains, streams (you get the idea, nature)
    • I haven't gone insane
    • I still have a sense of humor
    • I believe in myself (despite not always living up to my own expectations or everyone else's)

I could go on but you get the idea.

We're all so fortunate just to be here, sharing stuff -- both serious and funny, wise and foolish, desires, fears, longings, and wishes.

You're not proud of being "weird" (from your profile, your word, not mine)?

To me it is something to be proud of. All my friends are at least a little "weird." They have to be to be my friends. "Weird" is what makes people interesting!

I am to much a work-in-progress to be proud, every time I feel a little bit of pride, I get knocked down a notch, which I actually like because it challenges me to be better in so many ways

    I saved a man's life once when I was 19 years old.

I have made it possible for at least a dozen young people to obtain a college education at a first-rate university when they themselves or their families did not have the financial means to do so.

I lead a balanced life that incorporates a healthy mind and healthy body, and I am lucky to have a wonderful family and incredible friends.

Pleased with some of the things one would expect.. structured, effort and completion of projects, education, professional efforts.... but really like the fact I've realized how simple things in life can make me happy and how much helping others is important.....and being optimistic.
