    Gents,

Does anyone have tips on ways to get the best leg definition? I'm not trying to cut up for a bodybuilding competititon but wouldn't mind getting more shape in my quads. I get veins popping in my upper body fairly easy but the lower body tends to look more smooth.

My cardio is swimming and walking the dog. Does it take more running to lean up the quads?

    Appreciate any comments!

You'll probably need to utilize some resistance training to really get those leg muscles to pop out a little more.

Bicycle...preferably mountain biking because of the uphills. Lots of leg strength required.

I began working out in the summer after being a lazy ass for years.

The other day I was washing my legs in the shower and realized the impact of my workouts. What a huge motivator!

I go on the treadmill for about 30 minutes 4-5 times a week. I speed walk. Basically, I set the speed for as fast as i can without it forcing me to jog.

I then increase the incline incrementally every minute until i get to 12.5 (i don't know if all the treadmills use the same unit of measure).

After about 15-18 minutes, I decrease the incline and pick up the speed.

This is a time investment, to be sure, but I have found it very worthwhile. My calves are pretty ripped (and hard) now.

    Good luck!

You need to post a leg picture in a Speedo (or nude) to prove it. icon_wink.gif

Bicycling. Pick a route with some decent ascents. On a road bike. None of those wimpy little mountain-bike gears.

Of course it just gives my legs all kinds of definition, but not much size...

just because i can leg press 900 pounds, have 28-inch thighs, and own a ass that has its own zip code doesn't mean you can get up in there with taking me to burger king first

MuchMoreThanMuscle said^ You really have 28" quads? Cuz if so you're legs are bigger than mine (27").

I'd like to see them. icon_smile.gif

Oh and it's not Burger King....It's King Burger.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTBnG7xZcDSWOUyQdizLde

28 was my largest. i atrophied after i got hit crossing the street and lost the movement in my left leg. i'm probably down to 26.

and are you going to make this complicated?

    Complicated ordeeeeerrrr!!!!!

Nuh uh, sweet thang. I'll make it easy for ya.

I'll buy you a burger and if you want, a large order of fries and super sized Coke, then back to my place so I can show you well my traps serve as calf rests. Just lie back and enjoy. icon_twisted.gif

But for a person of your smaller build, even 26" thighs still sounds juicy. May I see pics of these large and in charge legs? icon_wink.gif

i'm a vegetarian, but i can make an exception for you beef cake...

and yeah, the private pics are a few years old, but you can see them i guess if you want to.

Hmm a dozen is a bit much and I've heard that fast results tend to disappear. I'm looking for something steady, sooooo with one top would take me about 24 weeks????? icon_rolleyes.gif
