Below is the trailer to the *new* Yuletide slasher flick, "SILENT NIGHT". Loosely loosely based on 1984's "Silent Night, Deadly Night" (the only comparison in plot is a santa punishing those who are naughty on Christmas Eve). It in, a small-town sheriff and deputy go on the hunt for a murderous Santa Claus terrorizing their community on Christmas Eve. But with the streets full of Santas for the annual Christmas parade, the killer is hiding in plain sight. He’s made his list, checked it twice, and the naughty are going to pay with their lives.

Oh yes, this year Christmas Eve Will Be The Scariest Night Of The Year!!

Jesus, can you just buy a flamethrower on the open market?

The original Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise has got to be on the most insane, balls-to-the-wall horror series on record. There's death by umbrella, an escaped mental patient with his brain exposed through a plexiglass skull cap is able to hitch a ride in the dead of night, a cult of murderous lesbians start to spontaneously combust, and a killer android mails booby-trapped toys to the neighborhood kiddies.

I can't remember if it's the first movie or the sequel but in the 80's version the killer was actually pretty hot icon_lol.gificon_redface.gif

I've been in the one of the houses that was used in the original Halloween which is located on Orange Grove in Hollywood. The one I was in is the one where Michael Myers puts a sheet over his head and hangs the headstone over the bed. I won't tell you what I did in that bedroom ;). I've also been to the places that was used as the mental hospital that Michael Myers escapes from.

The immortal Eric Freeman with his Soloflex body, dancing electric eyebrows, and Count Chockula laugh.

I'm assuming this version will likely bypass the Catholic abuse plot point that destroys the two brothers in the original movie. For all the concerned mommies freak-outs about the 1984 movie, it was surprisingly ahead-of-the-curve with that element.

    Punish!
