Do you think the Obama win will bring sanity back to the Republicans?

Do you think the Republicans will be able to throw this defeat in the face of the ultra rightists and tea party and tell them to go to hell ...and bring the Republicans back to a compromising position so the federal govt can function?

    Absolutely not.

The baby-boomer bible bangers will need to either die off (hopefully this will be completed by 2020) or be raptured away, and moderate LGBT repubs come out of the closet in bigger numbers before the GOP can re-emerge as a sensible choice.

There's going to be civil war in that party. But at least now the moderates have some good ammunition.

No. I sense that they will further cannibalize themselves tomorrow when the blame game goes to new delicious depths.

I can hardly wait to see.

I recall Ann Coulter remarking that if President Obama wins re-election that the Republican party would need to be more conservative to be successful in the next presidential bid. I have no idea how many in the GOP agree with her, but that seems to be a backwards way of looking at the situation.

Here's the guy who was willing to destroy America to make Obama a one term president. I wonder whats going to happen to him now.
