Following the gay men hate their bodies thread, I wanted to see if it was true.

Answer with Yes, for I love my body

    or

    No, I dont

Then we can have a very official statistics on gay men who likes vs hate their bodies!

    I start with myself:

    Yes

Edit : So far about 25 YES for 110 NO

23% of gay men like their bodies so far

So gays really are that insecure about their bodies!!!

Your question asks with the word "like"

My answer yes, but I dont 'love' it..
Too many things I dont like about it for me to "love' it.

I like it, but it won't hit bff status till it hits a certain bf percentage.

Not really. I'm probably too critical, but I'm nowhere near where I want to be yet.

From how I used to be to how I am now, i'm very pleased with my body but there is always room for improvement. i'm more worried about what my body can do vs how it appears (hence my lack of diet) lol

When I can get to 10 percent and build bigger shoulders, it'll be true love.

"Love," as in feel confidant about, proud of, etc? No, definitely not. I'm liking it more now that I've lost over 70lbs of fat and am beginning to gain some muscle and strength. But it is getting old and besides trying to keep in shape there is nothing I can do about that inevitability. All that said, though, I do "love" my body from the point of view of it being the vehicle of this life. We've been through a lot together and, hopefully, have many more years of experience to come. icon_wink.gif

I love mine. I started taking care of myself and preparing for my old age a long time ago. My body is a good looking, healthy result of all that work - and genetics play a part too. Perfect? No - I'm getting older. I'm slipping. But for my age - I'm great & very happy. I love my body & appreciate it every single day.
