So if you're like me (A giant nerd and child at heart) you love cartoons.
The other day I saw an article (But I can't remember where icon_cry.gif ) that talked about alot of "new" shows coming to cartoon network, and they are:

    Teen Titans, Go!
    The Tom and Jerry Show.
    Code Lyoko
    Xiaolin Showdown
    Sailer Moon
    Dragon Ball Z
    Powerpuff Girls
    Totally Spies

So, if you cant tell, most of their "new" shows are nothing but reboots, and continuations of old series.
If you don't remember any of them here's a quick rundown in my opinion.

Original Teen Titans ended as a cliffhanger

Tom and Jerry is really old, and not the same as it originally was.

    Code Lyoko, Another cliff-hanger

Xiaolin Showdown. A good show, with a good end.

Sailor Moon. A reboot of the series to celebrate it's 20th anniversary (Yes I watched it as a kid. Probably why I turned out gay)

Dragon Ball Z, I don't know why they are bringing it back when they have Dragon Ball Z Kai still running on another channel.

Powerpuff Girls, one of Cartoon Networks Staple shows, obviously they want to reboot it.

Totallly Spies. I honestly have no idea.

So are you excited? Angry? Don't care? Feel like you wasted your time reading all this?
Tell me below. After a couple of posts, I'll give my opinions of the best and worst for those who may be curious.

I don't think the new Tom and Jerry, will be the same as the old one. Only time will tell though.

Did you see the speed racer sequal they did recently? I never saw it, but it looked interesting.
The old Looney Tunes were definitely better than the new ones.

I never saw that, but heard good things about it. Maybe they'll bring it back to Toonami.

I gotta say, I've always had a major soft spot for Josie and the Pussycats...probably cuz I used to have a crush on Alan (I WAS only about 7...I even once had a dream I got to sit on his knee! Sigh....)

Though these don't fit into the idea of classic shows - I opened this thread hoping for:

    Frisky Dingo

    Stroker and Hoop

    Aqua Teen Hunger Force

    icon_sad.gif

Some of the others listed are old favorites though.

I can't believe NO ONE mentioned Sailor Moon!

Like the OP alluded to in his original post, Sailor Moon probably made me gay too. icon_lol.gif

Interesting fact: Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune were supposedly lesbian lovers, a fact that was toned down in Europe and other parts of Asia and completely taken out in the US version

Sorry Yasin. If I meant those shows I probably would have said Adult Swim.

Well, at least it wasn't just me who watched it as a boy and turned gay because of it icon_rolleyes.gificon_lol.gif
icon_eek.gif I never heard those facts about Sailor Uranus, and Sailr Neptune. But like alot of stuff, most of the really edgy stuff in this show was censored. It pains me to say this, but I've seen other magic girl shows (Its a whole genre of anime/manga, so I couldn't help reading a few) and I'm rarely surprised by the stuff they put in these shows any more.

I know... call it selective reading and wishful thinking, WaytoDawn icon_smile.gif
I'm excited to Tom and Jerry and Dragon Ball Z though!

Um ... Kid vs Kat was Disney, not Cartoon Network.

I'd love to see Ronin Warriors and ReBoot back on tv. Those were awesome. I'm psyched to see Sailor Moon and Xiolin Showdown again.
