    Old thread but to review.

    Better overall health.
Better sex life, increases testosterone naturally. (Only if your work-outs are intense.)
    Better sleep.
You get back what you put into it.
Ability to play sports-not just a couch potato!
Makes you physically better looking-for single men it increases your dating pool..a lot!!
    Reduces stress.
    Builds esteem in young men.
    Gives a sense of accomplishment.
If you make it a part of your life you enjoy it.
Great for the mind, soul, and body what more would you want??

Its a requirement for my job/career to stay in the best shape possible and also for future endeavors.

Also I have a goal of competing later on, so that helps.

But outside of most of that, just take a walk in a mall or somewhere with many people in it and just looking around at how out of shape people allow themselves to become, that's motivation enough to NOT want to get to that point.

This is a solid list and I would have said that I like working out because I sleep better when I've done something active, but since that's already on the list...

Crossfit is very social and I've met a ton of great people who have become my main friend group though it, so I'd say working out creates a social circle based on healthy pursuits, commons interests, and heavy drinking.
