watching 20/20 about the suicide of tyler clementi. The kid/ Rutgers student who jumped off the bridge. Dharun Ravi, his roommate did not tape him having sex, he didn't broadcast anything. So why was he pinpointed as the person that made Tyler jump? What the news didn't tell you was that Tyler was severely depressed because when he came out to his parents, they shunned him. They ignored him. What they didn't tell you was that tyler himself was a bigot because when he found out who Dharun was...his future roommate.( a kid of indian heritage).he tweeted "o great i bet his family works at a dunkin doughnuts". Tyler was also having a sexual relationship with a man the same age as his father. The only time a webcam issue came up was when the Dharun turned on his cam and saw Tyler kissing a guy...and he immediately closed it. This was witnessed by his friend who testified in court. Turned it off. didn't turn it back on or hosted watching parties for the dorm. That was all fabricated by the news. He even went as far as had a conversation with tyler that he knew he was gay and hes ok with him being gay. So why did the media and the justice system choose to make him the escape rat? Why did they paint him..being a minority himself, a bigot against gays? I am watching 20/20 right now on TLC, its shedding light about the criminal case. They shifted blame on just him..what about Tylers parents? What's the purpose of watching the news if it will mislead and spread lies? There is always two sides to a story.
