Did anyone see Bill Maher last night?

There was a reference that the little baby, with Downs Syndrome, that Palin says is hers, might actually be the daughters first baby, and that it is a cover up.

Has anyone heard this, or seen it in print?

yeah it was a rumor floating around that was on the daily KOS

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8/31/234157/516/1017/581734

Some say that is why the story was released about the current teen pregnancy .. that is to prove that girl did not have an illegitimate child but is instead getting ready to have one (that is she is 5 mos pregnant or something)

The way he said it, it seemed like it was a rumor, but when he said she returned to work 3 days after the baby was born, and that the daughter had been out of school for 5 months, with mononucleosis, in quotes, it seemed like he was searching. Who knows.

Check out the Daily KOS story ... there are some facts that just don't add up.

And even if the baby is hers ... what does it say about her judgement if, after her water broke, she:

-- Continued to give a speech
-- Flew 8000 miles home (on 3 separate flights)
-- Passed by state-of-the art hospitals in Anchorage (when she knew she was having a special needs child) to have the baby in a tiny region hospital

Ask any of your straight women friends if they would make the same judgement calls once their water broke.

Even Miranda on SEX AND THE CITY went straight to the hospital after ruining Carrie's shoes icon_smile.gif

Come on guys - we need to stop this - we are all supposed to be 'brothers' in a way - we should be getting along - we should ban together against any kind of nastiness against other people. We don't like people screwing with us just because we're gay - so we should nut up and set an example of how to behave with class and style, don't ya think?

It would also be uncool for us to talk about Obama's forgotten brother - which is a true situation - but still - let's show some style and not do this.

Yeah it is kind of a moot point now that the Governor has already come out about her daughters baby.

Uuuh, if she's lying, it is our American duty to roast her, not our gay duty.

When I first heard this I discounted it, but my partner, a lawyer and not a gossip, gives it credence. There is also a rumor she recently had an affair. And what's her story on going to 6 universities in 4 years? The GOP isn't allowing any interviews, so there are bound to be suspicions. If she's a nutcase, better to find out now.

This is a lot different. This is about the little baby that they said was just born to her, with Downs syndrome. Apparently there is some evidence, and it appears to be gaining some credence, that the baby is really the daughters, and the family has gone to great lengths to make it look like it was the Governors.

Irregardless of politics anyone who thinks that this poor child is her daughters is an idiot. The odds of a 17 y/o having a down's syndrome child are exceptionally rare while the odds of a woman of Palin's age having a down syndrome is very high. A womans eggs remain the same since her birth and as a woman ages they can become damaged and thus increase the liklihood of chromosomal defects like downsyndrome.

I couldn't agree more. Cripes, some people are so gullible that it boggles the mind. Highly unlikely that the daughter would have had a baby in April, and then be 5 months pregnant again in September. Apparently, they are sexually active up there in Alaska, but that would be a stretch even for the most fertile of teenagers. Bill Maher should be skewered for this. I can't even watch his interviews on Larry King anymore. Who died and made HIM an expert on anything?
