With the new Bond film Skyfall having just been released, I wanted to get other RJ'ers opinions of who their favorite Bond is.
Mine will always be Roger Moore, he played the character with some humor added in. Also, he is exactly how I would picture Bond to look and sound like.

Actually, I was always so bored of the Bond films- they were always so predictable because they basically had the same plot line. So when Daniel Craig was cast, I really didn't care because I hadn't planned on seeing any of the movies...but I went with some friends and I was really impressed. He reignited my interest for the Bond series because he, in my opinion, actually was convincing as an agent who could be suave and debonair, but could fight as well. Some of the other actors seemed to genteel and refined, so when they beat up a group of evil agents, it was totally unbelievable. But Daniel Craig had the perfect balance, I really have to say that I think he's my favorite Bond so far...

Probably Sean Connery. He was just a straight up hard badass, whereas the other bonds were a little more gentle compared to him. I also like Daniel Craig since his method of acting does also give a little more depth to the character. I'm really looking forward to Bond 24- even if it's a Dr. No/Live and Let Die remake.

I fucking love James Bond movies. Which is weird because I generally hate anything that involves sitting in the dark for 2 hours not talking to anyone. I generally hate movies and don't even have a tv. But Bond is my exception. My favorites From Russia with Love (Sean Connery was by far the best Bond) and The Living Daylights (Dalton wasn't that great of a Bond but I liked it because I thought the plot was the best, much more plausible than other Bond plots). Casino Royale was also very good, though I don't think Craig does justice to the original Bond character. Seeing Skyfall will be my first time in a movie theater in at least a year and a half. Most movies are stupid as shit.

I like Craig. He's added a more tortured depth to the Bond franchise, as opposed to cocky egotism,

Pierce Brosnan is my generation's Bond so I'll go with him. I don't like Daniel Craig cause he's blonde and Bond has always been a brunet.

Really like Daniel Craig. His Bond has to work to win, in every movie since "from Russia.." the character just walks through the movie and dispenses with the villains to easily.

Definitely Pierce Brosnan!! He fits Fleming's character so perfectly. Suave, handsome, and sly as a fox. Not to mention: the perfect accent!

It was actually a shame that when Connery left the series that the producers didn't use Terence Cooper, one of the many Bonds in the Casino Royale spoof from 1966. He had the perfect mix of Connery's ruggedness, George Lazenby's playboy athleticism, and Moore's aristocratic suaveness.

I grew up watching Pierce Brosnan's movies. He's my ideal James Bond. Handsome and elegant. Then second Sean Connery although he was the original 007 agent.
