For those that keep track of such things, I thought this was a great article about music review site Pitchforkmedia.com:

    http://nplusonemag.com/54

    My favorite line:

"What distinguished the mashup was precisely how obvious it was, how celebratory and stupid."

I belly-laughed. Anyway, maybe there's someone else who finds this interesting here since there are a fair number of people with interesting music taste. Enjoy.

pitchfork is like if fox news bought out the onion and started having writers from both companies collaborate. WOULDNT IT BE SO SUBVERSIVE IF WE GAVE NYC GHOSTS + FLOWERS A ZERO?!?! meanwhile if a fucking drum tech from SY walked in the room that writer's dick would triple. although whatever it serves its purpose and they do good interviews sometimes. i find it hard to keep up with modern things when i get stuck on stuff from 15 years ago but then when it catches up ill inevitably check pitchforks opinion and gafaw at whatever new reviews they put up. but i guess thats what journalism is. noone really gives a fuck about record reviews from june 3, 1988 and you gotta take chances if you want to be relevant.
