I find it easier for me to make female friends because they're more accepting, less cocky, and aren't on a constant power/domination trip like guys.

I have mostly male friends, and they are all straight. Working on making gay friends, but really not that easy.

Mostly male and gay ones... I'd much prefer straight guys as friends though... The less dramatic the better...

I have a few female friends, but most of my friends are gay. Pretty evenly split between straight and gay.

Really a mix, it has always been that way for some reason.. I'd say about a 50/50 split. It all works.

    Majority are Straight male.

Just don't relate to what gay male or females tend to like or do (at least in my city).

hmm....growing up till high school it was mostly guys....In high school a few friends who were girls.

When I went to college it was mostly girls. My college was 78% women. In the 22% of guys, they were either flamboyant gay guys, super straight frat boys, or super Christian. (I couldnt joing a frat cause I was not studying to be a Pharmacist, that was an actual rule and I actually hung out with the super Christian guys in my last year because I couldnt stand the drama of girls ahaha)

I look back on all my friends and its pretty even...my best friend is female but we treat each other like brother and sister and dont even consider each other friends...Also I only have one gay friend in real life and we lost contact when he move to Chicago and I to Boston...

Almost all my "real' friends are straight males. I've tried having female friends before, but I just can't deal with the head games. And you can call me sexist all you want, but I've rarely met a female who didn't play them. I take that back....I have a very close friend who is female but she moved away so I don't get to see her much. She's straight, but none of the usual head games.

Mostly female because I'm in fashion school and work at a predominantly female clothing store. But the male friends I have are gay, haven't made straight male contact since high school...

Do they speak the same language still?

I'd say I have a fairly equal amount of both, but it really depends on the social circle. As strange as it is, different circles tend to be predominately one gender or the other. So I find myself being the only guy with a bunch of girls or I'm with a bunch of guys and only one or two girls.

I like coed groups - there just seems to be a better group dynamic. Tragically, that's harder and harder to achieve.

Mostly male. My roommates are all straight guys, and I think I have maybe 3 gay friends...

I find it's easier to be friends with straight guys, if they're cool with you.
