    For those of us into rough play, s&m or bondage, its import to ensure we're on the same level as our playmates..

    Instead of picking the name of a random Icelandic volcano .. oh for example ( Eyjafjallajokull ).. it could be a good idea to consider the points in the following article.. it made me chuckle ;)

    The article did provide me with a new saying for my next needlepoint pillow:

    Taunts are for Tops; Begging is for Bottoms

    My rules for safewords:

    (1) simple (i.e., not subject to multiple pronunciations, easily understood, and easy to remember) (e.g., "coup de grâce" is often mispronounced by Americans who pretend to know proper French pronunciation and, moreover, is particularly difficult to articulate with the proper French accent when you have a ball gag);

    (2) no more than 3 syllables (e.g., supercalifragilisticexpialidocious will probably get you killed before you can say it); and

    (3) nonsexual (e.g., bunghole, fuck, suck, load, cum, creampie, piss, dildo, cock, pussy, fistfuck, gangbang, pussyjuice, jizz, etc., are ill-advised because they're normally uttered during an intimate session).
