Does your occupation match your personality?

OK, so I imagine this is kind of an odd topic, but I was just wondering how many people had jobs/occupations/careers that matched their personality.

For example, my current occupation does not match my personality in the least. According to Myers-Briggs, I'm an ESFJ (extroverted, touchy-feely). However, I'm working as a mechanical/chemical engineer. I work with concepts and computer programs instead of people. It's been difficult to retrain my brain to think in a different way than what comes naturally. It's kind of a long story how I got here but am working on moving into something that is a better fit.

    How about you?

    Absolutely.

I'm a self-employed pilot and photographer, and have the exact same personality at work as I do on the RJ forums. All the guys there are my "girlfriends." icon_lol.gif

Well I do aerial photography, too. Loading the pics to the computer and sending them to clients IS work.

BTW, I still haven't gotten the pics off the camera from the shoot two days ago, because I just don't feel like it. There's no deadline on that shoot. icon_lol.gif
