My parents would probably disown me if I told them I didn't believe in God. The same goes for them finding out I'm gay.

    +1

Although I do have to say, there is a difficulty in defining one's philosophies without at least addressing other religions or the question of God, whether you believe in him or you don't or you're not sure or you don't care or you think it's irrelevant. It's a point that can't be gotten away from.

...never mind the nonreligious proselytizing. How does an existentialist toilet train their kid? If you leave the stepping stone you dropped to cross a river are you creating for others a path?

Forget it, Jake. It's the internet.

I have a religion and It's just a part of me, doesn't define everything that I am. Thoughts?...icon_biggrin.gif

Religion isn't necessary anymore. We don't need it. It just causes more harm than good I think this is on the right track. I support it.

Too many people link religion(Organinzed religon) to God.

God is not the problem, it's the people who teach/manipulate his word.

I won't go on a long post because it will sound like I am preaching, but I fele like when Prayer was removed from schools in when things started to get worse.
