What's your favorite Aria??

    I'm such a geek with classical music, but just out of curiosity, what Aria of any opera do you like the most? Mine, O Zittre Nicth, and Der Holle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen by Konigin Der Nacht from Mozart's Magic Flute.

    Not from an opera, but the third movement from Beethoven's Opus 110 - Klagender Gesang/Arioso Dolente

    Yes, Beethoven wrote arias. His rare use of Italian and German expression is rather 'cutting edge'.
