How much do you guys really hate when a person's playlist starts automatically. I've heard a few people express a distaste for it, but does it really have any far reaching influence on how you view a person with it vs. a person without? I kept this in mind and never added this feature. However, I found some Jem songs on PlayList. com and one thing led to another...

I would have left them on manual start, but this is Jem we are talking about. I love Jem. If it helps, my real name is James and Jim is short for James. Not sure if that makes it less annoying, but it does a lot for me. icon_biggrin.gif

I hate embedded a music with a passion. However, I used Firefox Adblock to block content from all the playlist sites, so I almost never encounter a music any more.

I don't hate it, but it can be a bit startling when a loud song just kicks up out of nowhere.

I hate em, I just wish people learned some simple HTML and set their a to off. My BFs profile as, and I HATE that. I tell him that too icon_smile.gif

Sad thing is, he knows HTML, so I don't know what his excuse is other than to piss me and people like me off.

I think alot of you guys are hilarious.

You guys seem to forget that it's "THEIR" profile and they can do as they wish to it. Think of the songs as part of their expression and personality. It's there to be enjoyed and guess what? If you don't like what you hear you can always turn your speakers off yourself or mute it. It's just a button click away, people. Ya'll make it sound as if they are suppose to cater to your needs when creating a profile. Hahahahahahaha. Also the music is only as loud as the speakers they are playing on so in all honesty who's fault is that?

Sheesh. Talk about nitpicky and drama queens. Music playing on a profile when you click on it isn't that big of deal and the solution to the over exaggerated problem is really simple should you ever come across a profile of such. For goodness sakes.

I agree. I will be looking at a picture and sometimes get a little startled when the loud music comes on.

It's annoying as all hell...especially when I have my own music playing.

I will not navigate to any page or profile, for anything, with embedded a music.

I guess I'm weird because it does not bother me since I enjoy knowing what kind of music others like. What bothers me are posts with so many comments that my computer freezes.

I hate it, more because it slows down the loading of a page, rather than the music playing. I turn the sound off on my computer most of the time, so I don't even realize that music has been playing the background!icon_redface.gif

Thanks for the comments, gentlemen. Playlist does let you adjust the volume yourself. I just did on my music to reduce that blast factor. This is FYI for you guys with the heavy metal and the emo alternative. icon_wink.gif.

The funny thing is how guys say you won't check out a profile if it has music on it. How else are you gonna know if it does or doesn't have music on it unless you check it out and after checking it out are you gonna be that much of a picky bitch and not interact with someone just because they have music on their profile? Seriously. This is realjock so man up people.

No wonder alot of you guys are single. No one can stand your nonsense and priceless moments of queerness. LOL.

    Hate is a strong word.

But I don't like any of the alists I've heard. I listen to classical music, gospel, rnB (mostly old school and neo soul), and jazz. I can vibe to some country, but that's about it. Autoplaylists on RJ tend to feature rock, alternative, pop, metal, techno, trance, etc., none of which I enjoy. (Additionally, I usually do iTUNES or YOUTUBE while I surf the net and don't appreciate unwanted interruptions.) So if I hear stuff like that on a person's page, I often click the BACK ARROW--unless the guy is ├╝ber-cute or interesting or both. icon_smile.gif

This might sound like a stretch so stop me if I'm wrong but being that this is primarily a workout sight might it not make sense to have workout music on a perosn's profile?

It makes sense to me. Your average profile has rock, techno or something upbeat since that's what most people listen to when they work out. Those types of music do pump people up as they work out. Just a thought.

    Ya'll are funny.

It makes since to me. Your average profile has rock, tecnho or something upbeat since that's what most people listen to when they work out since those types of music do pump people up as they work out. Just a thought.

I guess my workouts are different. I usually listen to gospel or r&B when I workout, but sometimes I listen to opera. LOL
