I must say I am not really a fan of these type of award shows with their dancing and lipsyncing and so called "performances", and I am not a Pink fan, but I must say her performance last night ws really impressive. She and her partner performed an incredibly emotive dance and she sang the whole time with the help of a backing track. I saw the video and its easier to do something like this with takes and cuts but this performance left me engaged the whole time...What do you think?

She got some great press off that live performance, given how physical it is. I've seen the video before...love it. I also like a lot of what pink does. Have tickets to see her live in February! Can't wait!

I'm a HUGE fan of her. Always amazed she never made it to the superstar level...another great performance by her.

Curious what dancers out there have 2 say about her technique in the performance.

Also, who has the skinny on the male dancer? Name?

She blew me away with her performance at the Grammy's when she sang Glitter in the Air and did that amazing aerial work and then being dipped in water and rising back in the air and spinning with water flying off her body.

Total run-on sentence but who gives a shakalaka.

It was such an amazing and impressive performance. What she did took so much strength and endurance and she still sounded better than most performers who just stand in one place and sing. I have tickets to her show in Vegas and I can't wait!

It really was an amazing performance. I had seen the video before because someone had posted it on a thread, but I had no idea she was able to do it live! So good. Was a fan already, more of a fan now.

I would say she's a super star in Australia. She does like 15+ shows here each tour. Her concerts are always sold out very fast.

I don't have much to say about pop-music and especially when it's performed on awards shows, but I happened to be channel-surfing the other night that this was being performed and I saw most most of it and I thought it was amazing.

It does help that the guy with whom Pink is performing is really hot and built.

Back when I was just a young whippersnapper, singers would come out on stage and sing and then leave.
Now they have to incorporate getting fired out of cannons while wearing flesh colored bodystockings, walking tightropes surrounded by pyrotecnic displays and being set on fire in the midst of simulating sexual relations with their backup dancers......where will it all end?!? icon_confused.gif

The dancer is so fucking hot icon_biggrin.gif

But yeah, I didn't expect the live performance to be so much like the music video, that's pretty amazing. The video is of course more dynamic, but considering that she's singing and it's all in one take this is really awesome.
