So Thanksgiving is around the Corner...

And I don't exactly want a traditional Thanskgiving dinner. Many times when turkey was made at home it tasted just like the Boston Market meals that we'd occasionally buy when we were too lazy to cook for the holidays. Now all of that tastes good without a doubt, but it gets old... I was considering 'pernil' (pork) because honestly I'm tired of the same ol' cornbread, stuffing, cranberry jelly, etc.

So I'd really like to cook up something "eccentric", "exotic", a new twist on something old involving turkey or pernil. Some different kinda stuffing to go with it, a distinct seasoning for the meat, or an interesting side. Would anyone like to share a recipe? Ideas? icon_smile.gif

Add some cranberries to your protein smoothie.

Look bitch....the next "corner" would be Halloween and I haven't even decided on my costume yet. The corner after that would be my birthday and then the corner after that would be Thanksgiving. Stop rushing my life! icon_mad.gif

Yes I realize this thread is from 2012 but I just felt like cussing someone out.

No real ideas to share, but I think it's a great idea. Sounds like a great challenge and if it goes well, you will be excited and happy you took the initiative. Good luck with it and keep us informed how it goes!
