Wait .. are you asking about the Droid series phones from Motorola? Or asking about Android phones in general?

I like the Droid hardware, but Motorola/Verizon is really slow with providing updates. If you want a decent Android phone, then get the Galaxy S3. Or better yet, consider the new Nexus 4. It's unlocked and you can sign up with unlimited data plans from and of the various prepaid services.

    I have a Droid X.
    Hate it.

In theory, it's a lovely phone, but in the day to day.. doesn't do it for me.

Got my Galaxy S3 over the summer and love it! Using it now in Panama was so nice to be able to swap my sim card out and go with a prepaid minutes provider down here. When I first got the phone the software was not compatible with ALOT of the apps. But now it has caught up. Love all the extra features then my IPhone had.

I still have no idea why people just love to lick Apple's ass. Iphone is a decent phone but damn do people line up and buy a new one just for a .4% speed upgrade. My droid works like a charm and I am excited to get a Galaxy S3 come Jan.

Yeah, I really like my S3. Plus the Jellybean update is nice and stable. If only the Android OS was this polished when it first came out, I think more people would have liked it.

Get the Galaxy s3, or the new nexus device - Nexus 4.
I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I bought it from Google Playstore few months ago and I LOVE it to death. It's so fast and smooth. SO GOOD.

stay away from ANY and ALL Motorola Droids. the overlay is inherently glitchy and always seems a bit dodgy.

What you also have to understand about android phones is that they're different from anything else on the market due to the nature of the Android OS. It is technically a free OS, so companies are able to design phones around it on different levels. There are low-end android phones like your Intensity 2, mid-ranges like the Samsung Nexus series and high-end models like the Galaxy S3. The higher-end ones will usually have the most seamless user interface with the fewest glitches and the most features to offer. Your best bet is to upgrade to a higher-tier model. I'm swapping my HTC Rezound, an upper-mid range model for a GS3 this winter.

Go for the LG Nexus 4 if you can get ahold of one. I don't like the Touchwiz interface of the Galaxy SIII but love the pure Google experience of my Galaxy Nexus (which is now a year old but is running the latest version of 4.2 Jelly Bean).

I also have an iPhone 5 (work provided) which I'm starting to use more and more but I often miss the things you can do with Android which you can't with an iPhone (unless you jailbreak it).

I just got the Droid Razr HD and it's a great phone plus a really useable keyboard. The Galaxy S3 is a great video camera with a great screen, but that's about it. I can't stand the keyboard on that thing. I gave up using it after about a month and used only the old Droid Razr. I was able to get Verizon to give me a really really early upgrade to the Razr HD and it's been great.

This- Had an Iphone for as long as I have had smart phones, but traded my 4S in this summer and the S3 is a better phone for me on every level. My best friend just got the Iphone 5 and he hates it. Too light, nothing new from the 4S and it's just not worth it. He always used my S3 to view videos. I will not go back. I still love my Ipad and MacBook Pro, but Apple is slipping on phones, or others are catching up and passing, either way, the S3 is better, for me at least.
