Do u strive to attain the goals u set for urself whatever they may be, to make ur dreams a reality or have u settled for complacency & mediocrity, to just get by without wanting more out of ur life?

In the words of the iconic Jake Shears,
"I dreamed one day I'd be livin' off the system for free, well dreams come true honey welcome to my reality."

No I haven't given up on my dreams. I can have a career and travel the world, that's realistic.

God never fails to present me with new opportunity to reach higher and make a difference. I strive to make the best of each "next right thing time do". It would be boring for me to do otherwise.

Great question! I recently moved to NYC. Suddenly, and after several years of thinking about it. This was my way out of breaking the complacency of having worked at a dead-end government job for 13 years back in Baltimore. This summer, I finally said 'Enough!' and got the fuck out of there. I've been struggling getting settled here in NYC, but this is a much better challenge to where I was.

My amazing 79 year-old buddy, Bruce, once told me, "Jonathan, you're gonna wake up when you're 40 one day and have everything you ever dreamed of because you're not just pursuing your passion-- you're doing it!"

All of my dreams are a reality today, but I see clearly that I had never been entitled to them. The only thing I'm ever entitled to is relief from my self-bondage today and today only. Once that was figured out miracle after miracle started to appear.

I always have dreams I am aspiring to. Both short term and long term goals. Sometimes I get knocked down, but I always get right back up.

Well, I'm sort of searching for a new dream now that several have come true. I don't mind spending a little downtime in between to charge my batteries and get ready for the next adventure.

I have reachd some, I'm working on others, some have slipped out of my reach or become irrelevant, and new ones emerge. I always enjoy a good challenge, celebrate accomplishments, and have not become complacent or bitter (an occasional bad day when things don't go my way not withstanding).
