If the major parties didn't exist, who would you vote for as President?

Just curious. It can be either an individual or a minor party.

For me, individual would be Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich, party would be Libertarian.

Funny, you should mention major political parties. The Constitution wasnt designed with political parites in mind. This is an interesting analysis of the first great snafu in the system.

    Dennis Kucinich

Reason 1: he's been trying to get a law requiring labeling of products with genetically engineered ingredients off the ground for years.

Reason 2: he's apparently not freaked to have Nina Hagen on his bandwagon.

I'm sure there's more, but I don't feel like hunting it down and feeding my frustration.

Russ Feingold. So far to the left of Obama. Must have him on a ticket someday.

Anyone with ability and the frame of mind suitable for the office is long dead.
