For about 5 years now I have been the most strict eater constantly calculating my calories, fats, proteins, and carbs. It has been 4 years since I ate beef, 5 years for hot dogs, and forget about cakes. Well this thanksgiving I told myself I would toss aside the calculator and eat everything I've been depriving myself of for years. It turns out I ate all kinds of garbage including a half pound of pie and ice cream on top. Let me just say it was the best piece if pie I have ever had and dint regret it at all!!

This coming from a guy that used to be obese
I know we are all jocks and stuff and watch our diet but let's let ourselves go just for today !!

    icon_smile.gif I guess I'm still a fat kid at heart icon_smile.gif

I'm Canadian but I celebrate the USA Thanksgiving.

When I do our Canadian Thanksgiving in October, I have to endure it with my family. On your Thanksgiving, I have a bunch of gay guys over for turkey and stuffing and football on the TV. It's a gay celebration.

Eres muy guapo y tienes un cuerpo estupendo. I fully support your deviation from the diet today. Gotta live a little as well. icon_wink.gif

Congrats on your hard work and dedication Aggie! I'm glad that you gave yourself a treat and ate whatever you wanted to today and enjoyed it. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for another piece of pumpkin pie.

We all should indulge in our guilty habits once in a while. Keeps us human ;)

Aristoshark said"Is it true that by observing a strict diet, working out 2 hours a day, and neither smoking, drinking, nor using any drugs, you will live much longer?"

"No. It'll just seem like it."

Remninds me of the joke of the man who asks his physician how he can live until age 100 or even longer. The doc asks him whether he drinks, smokes, engages in risky sports, or has sex with other men. "No, no, no, and no, never" is the patient's response. "Then, tell me", the doc asks, "why on earth do you want to live this long?"

    +1.

Honestly though, you may be going a little overboard. Maybe once every couple of months for cake or other special foods.

I mean, seriously, who doesn't celebrate their own birthday with a little cake and/or icecream?
