Okay, we've had several threads showing off our various RJ members' digital artworks. So, anybody out there still work with paints and brushes?

I'll start off with one of my latest paintings. L.A. City Hall at Sunrise, acrylic on Masonite 48" X 30"

It's the first in a short series I'm going to do on the prettiest structures in Southern California.

It's up for sale, also. But it ain't cheap!

Love to hear what you think!

    Beautiful work, Pony!
I took all my digital art off my profile and so, other than the photos, there are 5 paintings I did. Here's another in oil on canvasboard. It's 16" x 20".

Bgcat, that's fantastic! Wonderfully subtle is of tone and highlights.

And, to Helium, it's not a photo. It's an acrylic painting on Masonite. hand-painted. No photo.

As I promised (granted it took me awhile to get the picture). This is one of my drawings.

Helium, can you give us a description of what it portrays and the medium used?
Whatever it is, I like it!

Was pretty much done with charcoal. If you saw Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, it's Weathertop in which is where Frodo gets stabbed from the Ringwraiths.

I saw it on the extended version and figured to draw it out to the best of my abilities. Granted that on the movie, it was hard to make out the shape but I got a decent design and added in some of my own interpretations.
