    In dogged persistence.

The best part was talking to my brother by phone to hear what the family did.

I ate out with my friend, watched Skyfall (awesome), did some Black Friday shopping, bought a dishwasher (finally), helped my friend can a new iPad. All-in-all, it's been a good vacation so far.

Cooked all day, and then partied, ate and drank with my extended gay family - which included 2 guys that I slept with 20 years ago, and who became great friends.

Cooked all morning long. Made a 21lb turkey, stuffing, turnip greens with my own special recipe, corn pudding, homemade mac and cheese, sweet potato biscuits, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie and a sock it to me cake for desert. I was delicious and everyone went home fat, happy and sleepy lol

In London right now, I went on a road trip with my cousin to the Mumford and sons concert a few towns up (Ipswich). It was pretty damn fantastic. Except for the no turkey part (and now that I think about it, I'm getting a little hungry(--- but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

    Though im a concert junkie

I'm studying for my finals over this very long weekend. Plus, I'm on-call and was paged already once. Yeah, it's a dream come true.
