Who are MEANER to each other, WOMEN or MEN?

I have been told, by women, that they are absolutely nasty to each other. I do feel like men are mean to each other, but to a point. Like if it were put in animal terms, a man may dislike another to put him into death throes and leave it at that. A woman will peck at the other woman in death throes until there's nothing left.

Discuss from your own knowledge please.

I think it mostly depends on the person. Some people are always up for a fight, others are a little more relaxed.

As far as stereotypes go, yeah women are known to be meaner more often, but men are usually feared more. Just look at parents.

Women and gay men seem to be meaner and more "catty".

It's a toss up between women and gay men.
But women care more about what other women think.

In my experience, men can behave civilly if they disagree. If things escalate, it can get ugly to the point of violence. Maybe more tactical and mercenary meanness.

Women have a passive aggressive form of meanness. Outward aggression is frowned upon in females. Women can have an uncanny intuition about what makes a person tick. They will fuck with your head and your soul.

Some gay men can be a blend...as corny as that sounds.

Women can get fierce with one another but I think men get much more violent with one another. Men are worse than women in this respect.

Men spar and usually let it roll off their backs...

Women go for blood and hold grudges.

I think gay men are meaner to eachother. Straight men don't give a shit about other guys disliking them

Both men and women have their moments, we all seem to agree on that. I'd say it's more characteristic of women to be petty and passive-aggressive, but maybe it's just a stereotype. Men are certainly capable of constant, annoying pissing contests. The more people I meet, the more I like my dog. icon_exclaim.gif

it depends on two human beings and how much they like the sound of their own voice.

Individuals vary, but generally, I`ve found women meaner to each other than men. Women almost seem to anticipate being wronged, men (innocently) wait until they`re wronged to take against another guy.

Women seem to have an ability to maintain an argument against another woman almost indefinitely. Their meaness isn`t so dramatic and physical, but it can have a relentless, unmerciful quality to it.

With men, the arguments ebb and flow.

I sometimes think this what holds women back, their inability(relatively speaking) to show solidarity with each other.

It depends on what you consider mean.

I don't think it's necessarily mean to be up front with someone of what an ass they are.

I do think it's mean to be closed and lead someone on however and then talk behind their backs. Since you are simply making them to be a fool.

Both do it. Men do the latter in relationships. Women do the former in everyday relationships. In the end, it all balances out. Both suck.
