2013 Is just around the corner! What are your travel plans?

I'm backpacking through Latin America so if anyone wants to meet up somewhere let me know. I plan to make it to Rio Carnival in February!

St. Maarten for family vacation, then 4 months in Shanghai, and possibly going from Shanghai to Australia for a few weeks to visit my sister! However, the last one's a bit of a stretch at the moment

I travel to US cities more often during baseball season as I am trying to visit every ball park in the US. I am planning to be in Miami for my birthday though and that's in January. The only other travel plans are a visit to Paris to see an old college friend and do some climbing at Fontainebleu and a Baltic cruise over the summer.

Going to an extended rugby social in Atlanta in January, and playing in rugby tournaments in Nashville in April and Seattle at the end of May. (Of course, my team is also hosting a tournament here in St. Louis in March....) If I can swing it, there's a conference I want to attend in Hong Kong in August, and a rugby sevens tournament in Las Vegas in February.

Why bother? The world ends in under a month anyways.

One what? Rugby tournament in St. Louis in March? Oh yes. Chris should be able to fill you in on the details.

As 2013 opens we'll already be in New Hampshire for Christmas & New Years (we live in Florida). Then we return home.

Nothing firm in 2013, except we'll be in Key West in November for our annual charity bike ride. And we do a few trips down there throughout the year, just a quick drive for us. Likewise Orlando and the theme parks are a few hours away to the north, likely do those, too.

I'd like to do P-town on the Cape again, a little early yet, but I see us there in September. We don't do big trips now, a bit much for us, but we'll spend at least a couple months total living out of suitcases in 2013. icon_biggrin.gif

Key West in the spring and the annual trip to the NC mountains for rafting and ziplining Memorial Day weekend.

Thinking about applying for an internship opportunity in Brazil if my boss will cut me loose for a month.

The rafting and ziplining sounds like a blast! I do both in West Virginia whenever I can. We should try and get an RJ group together.

No doubt! That's a terrific idea. Haven't rafted the Gauley or the New in a long time. Been sticking with the Nantahala the past few years - they have some great cabins close by and the zip line runs there are actually pretty good.

Where is the good ziplining in WV? Never tried it there.

If my scholarships work out the way I'm planning, I may have enough money to see NYC in the spring. I need to get some info on Andy Warhol for my final Modern Humanities project.

I wish I could stay in the Hotel Chelsea...alas, the building in some sort of limbo. Owned, operated but closed. WTF?

It is likely that I will go to Anaheim, CA this summer for a conference. Beyond that I don't know at this time.

I would love to take a cruise this summer or some sort of vacation by myself.

My goal is to take one (by air) vacation in 2013. I'm still watching my money, so I'm not sure if it will be NYC or the "Holy Land (aka San Francisco)" in 2013.

I do hope to get down to Ft. Lauderdale to see my RJ buddies in South Florida, or to Key West and maybe over to Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater sometime next year. It all depends on what I have to work with.
