Based on current RPI, here are tonight's top 5 games

5.) Northern Colorado (1-2, #274) @ Colorado State (4-0, #7) - Rams are coming off a nice win over Washington and look to remain unbeaten leading up to their big clash in Boulder against Colorado December 5th.

4.) Wagner (1-2, #192) @ Albany (4-2, #45) - The Great Danes should make it win #5 tonight as they establish themselves as one of the favorites in the America East conference as they already have nice wins over Washington and Duquesne.

3.) Towson (3-2,109) @ Loyola(MD) (5-1, #128 ) - traditional battle of Baltimore. The Tigers are typically a cellar-dweller in the Colonial, but they're off to a nice start. The Greyhounds are coming off a nice OT road win vs. Rhode Island.

2.) Northwestern State (3-1, #106) @ Texas A&M (4-1,#33) - The Demons tackle their 2nd str8 SEC opponent and held their own at LSU last time out before losing by 7. The Aggies need some home cooking after a rough time in Kansas City getting blown out by St. Louis and barele beating Wasinghton State in the CBE Classic.

1.) Murray State (4-1, #28 ) @ Lipscomb (2-2, #42) - battle of top mid-majors who we may hear from come tournament time is the top bill of the night. The Racers already have nice wins over Auburn and St. john's and their lone loss was to Colorado. Lipscomb got thumped by Ole Miss their last time out.

Tuesdays to 5 college hoops games based on RPI:

5.) Nebraska (4-1, #74) @ Wake Forest (3-2, #123) - one of 6 Big10/ACC challenge games tonight. Neither team is off to a great start. The Huskers lost to Kent state their last time ou and the Deacons have been bounced by UConn and Iona...go with the home team on this one.

4.) Maryland (4-1, #157) @ Northwestern (6-0, #25) - Terrapins give the wildcats their first test of the season. Maryland played Kentucky tough. Look for them to get a road win for the ACC.

3.) Minnesota (6-1, #31) @ Florida State (4-1, #135) - Gophers had a nice showing in the Bahamas playing Duke tough and beating Mamphis & Stanford. The Seminoles opened the season ugly with a loss to South Alabama and have since notched nice wins over BYU and St. Joe's. Love Tubby, so I'll go with the Big10 on this one.

2.) North Carolina (5-1, #95) @ Indiana (6-0, #7) - the Hoosiers look to solidify themselves as the nations top team. The Tar Holes looked uninterested in their loss to Butler in Maui, but I think Roy will have their attention for this matchup. Great post action in this one. I'll pick Carolina.

1.) N.C. State (4-1, #12) @ Michigan (5-0, #4) - the wolverines won the ore-season NIT with wins over Pitt and Kansas State. The Wolfpack lost by 20 to OK State in the finals of their holiday tourney. I like State's team a lot and I think their size will create enough matchup problems to get them the road win.

    Wednesday's Top 5 College games:

5.) Boise State (4-1, #148 ) @ Creighton (6-0, #17) - the Blue jays went to Vegas and came home with a title and wins over Wisconsin and Arizona State to make them the early team to beat in the Missouri Valley. Boise State has also had a nice start with their only blemish a 4 point loss to Michigan State. If you're in Omaha, this one should be worth the price of admission.

4.) Oklahoma (4-1, #48 ) @ Oral Roberts (3-3, #125) - battle for the Okies. Both programs are off to rocky starts, but this in-state rivalry never disappoints. The Sooners had a ugly loss to Gonzaga but followed it up with a nice win over West Virginia. ORU went 1-2 at the Great Alaska Shootout for a 4th place finish in Anchorage.

3.) Saint Bonaventure (3-1, #64) @ Ohio University (5-0, #75) - The Bonnie's only loss was a tight one to Canisius while the Bobcats are coming off a pounding of another A10 foe in Richmond and look to take a 7-0 record into Memphis on Dec. 5th...anyone near Athens should check this team out.

2.) Georgia Tech (4-1, #79) @ Illinois (7-0, #7) - the ACC/Big10 Challenge concludes tonight. The Big10 leads 4-2 and really should be the best conference in college ball this season. No one knew what to expect from the Illini, but they went to Maui and came back with a trophy and threw a warning to the rest of the league that they're ready to challenge for the league championship. The ACC on the other hand is struggling and GaTech may be one of the few bright spots. They came in 3rd at the DirecTV tourney in SoCal with wins over St. Mary's and Rice and a good loss to Cal.

1.) Ohio State (4-0, #14) @ Duke (6-0, #1) - Marquee game of the challenge tonight in Durham. Last year the Buckeyes thumped the Devils in Columbus, so Duke is seeking some revenge. Both teams won their holiday tourneys and this could be a Final 4 Preview...

Thursday's top 5 college games based on RPI:

5.) Seton Hall (5-1, #122) @ Louisiana State (4-0, #112) - not to be outdone by the Big10/ACC challenge - which ended in a 6-6 draw - we have the Big East/SEC challenge going tonight. The Tigers and Pirates both have started with easy schedules, with the exception of Seton Hall's lone loss to Washington, so this should give us a good barometer on what to expect from these programs this year.

4.) Western Kentucky (0-0,4-2, #83) @ Louisiana-Monroe (0-0,0-2, #134) - I'm not a fan of pre-XMAS conference games, but we've got one here in the Sun Belt against perennial conference power Hilltoppers and the Warhawks. WKU has a nice win over DePaul to go along with losses to Southern Miss and Iowa while ULM is still looking for win #1 after opening with losses to Oklahoma and LaTech.

3.) South Carolina (5-1, #132) @ Saint John's (4-2, #49) - First, let me say it's great to see Steve Lavin back coaching after taking last year off to battle cancer. The RedStorm (or the Redmen if your old enough to remember pre-PC days) have a lot of talent that should come together by mid-season but are a work in progress with early losses to Baylor and Murray State. They look to take down the Gamecocks (BEST MASCOT FOR ALL GAY MEN .....GO COCKS!!!!). The COCKS have a pretty record against a weak schedule that includes a loss to Elon..should be a win for the BEast.

2.) Marquette (5-1, #137) @ Florida (5-0, #8 ) - The Gators have been impressive out of the gate, including a thumping of Wisconsin and look to keep rolling against a Marquette team that's a crazy buzzer-beater loss to Butler away from being undefeated. Should be a good one in Gainesville.

1.) Kentucky (4-1, #19) @ Notre Dame (6-1, #78 ) - South Bend is all about college football right now, but hoops takes front stage tonight as the Mildcats come to town. Calipari just keeps grabbing em right out of the cradle and running em out there and this years team is once again loaded with raw talent learning the game on the fly. Would be a big win for ND.

Monday's (12/3) top 5 games based on RPI:

5.) Texas-Arlington (3-2, #138 ) @ Texas-Pan American (2-5,#284) - Battle of Texas institutions...the host Broncs are coming off their only Div 1 win over SIU- Edwardsville...The Mavericks travel down to Edinburg and look for win #4 wih their lone losses to Oklahoma by 4 and in Austin to Texas. They could make some noise in the wide-open WAC.

4.) Texas Southern (1-6, #222) @ San Diego State (5-1, #54) - The Tigers made a lot of noise in Boulder last week pushing the previously unbeaten Buffs to double overtime behind Omar Strong's 39 points and 9 3-point baskets. They've played a brutal schedule, but we will probably see them in the NCAA tournament in April as the SWAC representative. SDSU is one of four or five teams that could come out of a tough Mountain West conference currently ranked ahead of both the SEC and the Big12. Their lone loss was to Syracuse and they already have wins over USC and UCLA.

3.) Fresno State (3-3, #156) @ Long Beach State (3-3, #67) - in a rare scheduling, these teams are playing a home-n-home. LBS won in Fresno on 11/25 behind 23 points from one of the best names in college ball...Peter Pappageorge. They should pull off the sweep. Fresno has been down for over a decade and it could be a long year for them as they return to the Mountain West this year. Long Beach's three losses are to USC, Carolina and Arizona. They should win the BigWest this year.

2.) Southern California (3-3, #88 ) @ Nebraska (5-1, #61) - Two teams and two conferences in a different place. USC is a mediocre team in a mediocre PAC12. Kevin O'Neill has stabilized the program and they had a nice ot win in Maui over Texas, but they've followed that up with losses to Marquette and San Diego State. The Huskers got a road win vs. Wake to help the Big10 go 6-6 inthe ACC/Big10 challenge. Unfortunately for them the Big10 is loaded and they'll be lucky to finish above 9th this year. This could be a great game to watch if you're in Lincoln.

1.) Eastern Michigan (5-1, #128 ) @ Syracuse (5-0, #9) - looks like another great year for Syracuse. James Southerland went for 35 on 9 3-pointers in Fayetteville over Arkansas the last time out and they should roll an Eastern Michigan team who's 5 wins include 2 over non-Div 1 teams.

Tuesday's Top 5 Games based on RPI:

5.) Wyoming (8-0, #51) @ Illinois State (5-2, #60) - The Cowboys bring an undefeated record to Normal to take on the Redbirds. WYO is coming off an impressive victory over Colorado while ISU has lost two str8 in tough battles with Northwestern in overtime and Louisville the last time out.

4.) Louisville (6-1, #13) @ College of Charleston (5-2, #94) - Louisville travels to Charleston to take on one of the best mid-major teams in the country. the Cougars already have a win at Baylor on their resume and their losses were to Saint John's and Auburn. The Cardinals are struggling to cope with the loss of center Gorgui Dieng.

3.) Northwestern (6-2, #80) @ Baylor (5-2, #24) - Northwestern has dropped two str8 to Maryland and Illinois-Chicago and face a tough Baylor team in Waco who's flying high after a win in Rupp Arena over Kentucky heir last time out.

2.) Western Michigan (6-1, #91) @ Michigan (7-0, #2) - The Broncos opened the season with a loss to Cornell, but have won six str8 since. They'll have their hands full in Ann Arbor in what is the best Michigan team since the Fab 5.

1.) North Carolina State (4-2, #23) @ Connecticut (6-1, #7) - In the Jimmy V Classic in MSG, the Huskies led by new coach Kevin Ollie look for a signature win to spice up a season that sees them barred from postseason play due to academic failures. NC State was the preseason pick to win the ACC, but they've struggled out of the gate losing 2 of 3 to Oklahoma State and Michigan.

Here are Wednesday's (12/5) Top 5 games based on RPI:

5.) Charlotte (7-0, #44) @ Davidson (4-3, #119) - Charlotte is off to a great start including the Great Alaska Shootout championship and will have their hands full with an always-tough Davidson team in this local battle.

4.) South Florida (5-2, #140) @ Oklahoma State (5-1, #17) - battle of Big12 n BEast. The Cowboys won the Puerto Rico tip-Off Classic, but lost at Virginia Tech their last time out. USF has some uneven results..losses to Cental Florida and Westen Michigan and wins over Bradley and Georgia.

3.) Southern California (3-4, #113, @ New Mexico (8-0, #3) - The Trojans try to end a 3 game losing streak including a loss in Lincoln to Nebraska their last time out. The Pit is not the place to do it and this could be Steve Alford's best Lobo team. They won the Paradise Jam by beating UConn in the championship game but were pushed to the limit the last time out at Indiana State before winning in overtime.

2.) Stephen F. Austin (5-0, #27) @ Texas A&M (6-1, #18 ) - The Lumberjacks are off to a great start including a win at Tulsa and a win at home over San Diego their last time out. Tonight they'll need to step it up against the SEC's Aggies who've won 3 straight since being blown out by Saint Louis.

1.) Colorado State (6-0, #38 ) @ Colorado (6-1, #6) - This one was gonna be a battle of unbeatens until the Buffs stubbed their toe at Wyoming. Should be a great one for all u guys in Boulder to take in!

Based on RPI, here are Thursday's(12/6) Top 5 Games:

5.) Rhode Island (2-6, #164) @ Providence (6-2, #122) - The Rams opened up the season with 5 straight losses, but have won 2 of 3 including a double OT win over Auburn and a good win over UVM their last time out. Providence Is on a 4 game winning streak including winning their BEast/SEC challenge game over Mississippi State in their last game. Should be a great in-state battle.

4.) UC Santa Barbara (3-4, #63) @ San Diego State (6-1, #88 ) - Jamal Franklin is the newest Aztec to draw the attention of NBA Scouts. the Gauchos are always tough and should give SDSU all they can handle.

3.) Arkansas-Little Rock (7-3, #126) @ Cincinnati (7-0, #24) - Mick Cronin has his Bearcats rolling, including the championship of the Global Sports Classic over Oregon. They should take a 10-0 record into their cross-town battle with Xavier on 12/19. UALR will battle Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State for the SunBelt's NCAA bid this year and will give Cincy a good fight tonight.

2.) Long Beach State (3-4, #112) @ Syracuse (6-0, #4) - Even as its being dismantled, the BEast continues to be one of the best...if not the best...conferences. Syracuse, Louisville, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and UConn are all tough this year, but the Orange(men) are putting themselves out there as the team to beat. LBS had a disappointing home loss to Fresno State their last time out and could be looking at a beat down tonight.

1.) Creighton (7-1, #56) @ Nebraska (6-1, #39) - All of Nebraska should turn out for this in-state battle that could be one of the best in the history of this game. Love to hear from any RJers who will be at this one 2night.

5.) Seattle University (2-3, #229) @ Eastern Washington (2-6, #277) - Seattle just made the jump to Div 1 a few years ago and are in their first year as a member of the WAC Conference. Their lone D1 win this year was their opener over Montana State. EWU has wins over Cal State Fullerton and USC Upstate and lost in OT their last time out to Idaho.

4.) Alabama State (0-6, #314) @ Detroit (4-4, #169) - The Hornets travel to Detroit still looking for their first win. The Titans have nice wins over Drake and Toledo and "good losses" to Pitt, Miami(FL) and Saint John's. They could make some noise in a Horizon League that's wide open with Butler's departure to the A10.

    3.) Bryant University (5-3, #134) @ Navy (5-6, #280)

    2.) Longwood (2-6, #315) @ Georgetown (7-1, #19)

3.) East Tennessee State (2-5, #303) @ Mississippi (6-1, #40) - The Rebels should rebound after their first loss of the year at Middle Tennessee State their last time out. ETSU's lone D1 win his season was over Charleston Southern.

2.) Louisiana State (6-0, #28 ) @ Boise State (6-2, #60) - LSU looks to remain unbeaten as they travel to Boise to face a Broncos team that followed up a nice road win at Creighton with an ugly beating by the Utes their last time out.

1.) Charlotte (9-0, 30) @ Miami(FL) (5-1, #42) - after a puzzling loss at Florida-Gulf Coast, the Hurricanes are on a roll with upset wins vs. Michigan State and at UMass their last time out. Charlotte brings an unbeaten record to town. They won the Great Alaska Shootout and have a nice win over Davdson. Should be a great one for all you sexy Miami MEN to check out!

Based on current RPI, here are today's top 5 games in college basketball...

1.) Ohio State (7-2, 17-4, #18 ) @ Michigan (7-2, 20-2, #7) - battle on the court has surpassed battle on the field with the rise of Michigan basketball...Wolverines look to rebound from a loss at Indiana..this is a must TiVO event if your cant make it to Ann Arbor and snag a ticket.

2.) Florida (8-0, 18-2, #3) @ Arkansas (4-4, 13-8, #94) - Florida is the class of the SEC and probably playing the best basketball in the country right now. This should be a good road test for the Gators. Razorbacks always tough at home...Piiiiiggggg Suuuueyyyyy..

3.) Boston College (2-6, 10-11, #153) @ Miami (8-0, 17-3, #2) - what can u say about the job Larranaga has done in South Florida....The Hurricanes have a 2 game lead in the ACC and are coming off of a buzzer beating road win over NC State in Raleigh...BC should be road kill as Miami tunes up for a visit from Carolina this weekend

4.) Wake Forest (3-6, 10-11, #129) @ North Carolina (5-3, 15-6, #35) - not a banner year for Carolina, but they're very talented and Roy's a great coach who can get them to improve over the next month and be ready come tournament time...Wake is at least a year away from competing nationally and the Jury's still out on Bzdelik's reconstruction in Winston-Salem...I think he's got 1more year before the heat gets too high on him.

5.) Florida State (4-4, 12-9, #65) @ Georgia Tech (2-6, 12-8, 123) - While Miami has been the surprise of the ACC, Florida State has been a disappointment. Ga Tech is a scrappy team that plays hard and will be tough to beat...any Atlanta men gonna check this one out?

    Worst game of the night:

Redford (4-5, 10-13, #300) @ Liberty (3-6, 7-16, #339) - Any gays in Lynchburg Va wanna check out this battle at the fine instituion created in the vision of the late Jerry Falwell? Give us a report in the morning....maybe a picture of you kissing under the basket....

Great MICHIGAN WIN!!! 14 of 24 three-pointers is what got us the win!

And nothing like the FREE 3-pointer given to the nuts while he was moving AND after the shot clock went off. Damn ass Sun Belt conference refs invading the Big Ten again.

Live and Die by the 3 is why UM will never advance far in the tourney.
