Ok, so there is the bowling extravaganza on December 8.
Our next event will be dinner at La Chaumiere (it's not as expensive as it sounds, lol), in Georgetown, on December 15, in honor of a visit by His Largeness, Larkin.
What's a good time? 7:00? I will need to make reservations fairly soon.

    Gothamites are welcome!
The food is French, but there are affordable (under $20), Continental entree's for those who don't go for foi de veau. http://www.lachaumieredc.com/menu_dinner_entrees.html

    No dress code.
We are going with 7:00 unless someone raises a strong objection.

Isn't all of this socialization a violation of the RJ rules or something?

Yeah. You might think a French place would be more casual, but no... "No snails unless your snail is covered!"
