Economic liberty correlates with economic growth.

A new study on economic freedom in North America has concluded that some American states are less free than the provinces of our northern neighbor Canada.

“Canadian provinces now lead US states in average economic freedom, with the provincial average at 6.8 compared to 6.7 out of 10 for US states,” claims the new study by the Fraser Institute.

Topping the list of the most economically free subdivisions of North American countries is the Canadian province of Alberta, followed by Delaware, Saskatchewan, Texas and Nevada.

Our social fabric and entitlements that Riddler so despises with a hot venomous hate has made much possible.
In Canada it's usually all about each other rather than f*** you I got mine. We rotate our political parties trusting none and considering all.

The current gov't is singing its swan song as we're about to change it out to something less dictatorial. icon_wink.gif

Heh. You do realize that the current Conservatives were elected with a majority federally in 2011. It's 2012 - and in Canada they're allowed a maximum of a 5 year term. Not only this, they are leading in the last polls that were put out and retained the last two seats that were up in byelections a few days ago. Swan song? You know if you're going to troll, can you at least be a bit credible?

    Dramatic Doug strikes again. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yet all of Canada's provinces benefit from single-payer health care. Something no state in the Union has. Interesting.
