I was just wondering if anyone on here actually reads blogs? I don't read blogs and I really can't think of any of my friends in real life that do. My friend told me to read the following blog and I thought it was pretty funny http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/. What's your favorite blog?

I'm more of a visual person than a reader. I follow a couple of video blogs (vlogs) but even those I follow I don't watch often, just when I'm bored.

Actually all I read are blogs. Blogs about news, celebrities, urban planning, sex, culture, sex, animals, and more sex....

    Yeah, I read a few.
Stumbled onto some guys who blog about their sex lives. Better than porn, if you believe everything they write.

No generally only the blogger's friends* read them.

Not counting those scoundrels who hide all of the customer service info for their business somewhere in a disorganized rambling blog. That's just egregious trolling.

I don't read personal blogs about people's lives, opinions, and other shit, but I do read a great deal of educational, news, culinary, and gymnastics blogs.

I used to have several gymnastics news blogs that I updated on a daily basis. Eventually I got caught up in other things and better blogs started to come out, so all my old blogs are kaput.

    ^ this

other than tumblr there's only one blog I read sometimes and it's a blog that identifies clothing that k-pop stars are wearing and gives urls of where to buy the clothes. I've found lots of awesome online stores on that blog.

I know a couple of "bloggers" and they're both obnoxious as hell. They think their lives are so fucking important, and their blogs are fucking inane. But their close friends worship them because they're hipsters. Gag me with a spoon. icon_confused.gif

I read newspaper blogs and stuff.

My question is when I stroll onto someone's profile and they say they have a blog, do people actually read them? Or are they just doing it for the fun of it?
