so i've been working out with plain old nylon mesh shorts, cotton tanks, etc. for the longest time and it seems time to finally invest in some good gym clothes. anyone have any suggestions of athletic gear? i'd like to find something form fitting, but breathable and won't hang like a wet fettucini noodle once i start sweating. thanks guys--

Well, a number have already commented on it in other threads, but you might look into some of the various lines from UnderArmour. They have things to range from sprayed-on appearance to loose fitting, some which breathe and some which don't, and all of their stuff is good at dealing with sweat.

AussieBum is excellent, but only available from their website.

I'm with MSUBioNerd on the under armour. I love it, but I do recommend reading the thread on it. I also like Reebok's version of it, the sleeve fit a bit better.
    Good Luck

pearl izumi makes great shorts (with built in support) and tops for running- which are also great for lifting/cardio routines.

also- nike pro compression shorts are great for underneath standard shorts.

you have to check out nau. i believe they hav e 4 stores and a great website. everything is either organic or recycled. designers went from nike and reebok to make this stuff. it's incredibly high tech and sexy as hell.
