When McSame announced that he was running for the presidency, one of the reasons for his doing so was to combat" radical islamic extremism" and he contrasted that with our constitutional system of "stability, tolerence and democracy". Somehow though he got off course, because Palins views of religion in relation to governing more resembles the theocratic Islamic fundamentalist style of governing. FOR EXAMPLE (1) Palin would use censorship -- while in office she approached a local librarian about how to go about removing some books some of her sonstituants didn't like, and when the librarian bucked her on the issue, Palin tried to fire her. (2) Palin is for teaching crationism in public schools with public tax dollars. (3) Palin is totally against abortion for any reason. (4) Palin sees our govenments wars as "GODS WILL" (5) Palin does not believe that human activity can cause global warming, she considers it "GODS WILL" (I wouldn't be suprised to learn that she and her church are of the ilk who believe that Hurricane Katrina was "GODS WILL" in retribution for America's tolerance of gays) (6) Palin is against Gay Rights, and is for a constitutional amendment to define Marriage as only between a man and a woman. So much for tolerance, and separation of church and state if Palin were to have her way. So what is the difference between her views of religion in governing, and that of the Islamic fundamentalists whose form of government is intolerant and Theocratic, rather than a tolerant Democracy? Her views are not what I see for being good for our America !!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE FOR OBAMA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I wasn't aware of some of what "Dad" posted, nothing would surprise me about the Palin woman at this point.

Conservatives seem to love her, but she concerns me. She did endorse Pat Buchanan over George Bush for the Republican nomination in 2000. Wasn't he campaigning about "culture wars" or something along those lines?
