I tend to like Brit shows more..I find the writing to be a lot better..US shows tend to be more sizzle than steak in that regard.

Just started watching a show called Mad Dogs. 5 school chums meet a buddy in Spain when things go horribly wrong and they need to fight for their lives against unknown enemies.

Stars Philip Glenister and John Simm (who also starred on the BBC original version of Life On Mars..another show I recommend!)

2 Seasons so far...1st was better than the 2nd but 2nd was still good! Looking forward to #3!

Loved Misfits as well! Nathan is a great character! I also like the fact that their powers aren't something they could use everyday..or even well. Doesn't Simon do "restraining order creepy" very well? LOL

"gravity falls" it's a Disney cartoon that's up to date and has a good balance between silliness and conspiracy theories. The animation quality is pretty good too. OOh the time travel episode was great!

MTV's Awkward is absolutely amazing. Can't believe I didn't pick up on it before but its the best written teen show I've watched in a long time. Totally makes shows like gossip girl feel redundant.

Dang, two that I have fell in love with (thanks to Netflix!):

    1. Freaks & Geeks (great great nostalgic 'cult' hit show that only lasted 1 season!)

    2. The sitcom Rules Of Engagement

American Horror Story! The acting is superb as are the actors. Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto...plays a gay man! well in the first season. The show is creepy but the story will hook you.

George Gently, a fairly well done British detective series shown on some public TV stations. About 5 years old but set in the 1960's northern England. Although he always gets his man, you usually can't tell who the murderer was until close to the very end. Most episodes end with the hangman putting the noose around murderer's neck and he falling into eternity.
