Just watched this great film by David Weiseman again (saw it first at the SF gay film fest) on a PBS station (because of National AIDS awareness day. A very moving film, set mostly in San Francisco, where thousands of gay men died from AIDS, it dealt with the city's gay community's response to the epidemic. Uplifting, but hard to watch if you knew some of the people featured in the film. Worth watching if you want to learn anything about the early years of the AIDS epidemic.
