Anyone else unable to connect with gay US sites from China?

    While I was living in Istanbul I was not able to connect to any of the more fun european gay sites, they were all blocked by the turkish goverment. If the turks do it, I'm pretty sure the chinese are doing them one up.

    Use Hidemyass.com.....it will route your ip address out of the country so you can access anything the Chinese gov't doesn't want you to

    I haven't had any problems with gay site Except that they are very slow but I have had problems with news sites, both the New York Times and Bloomberg are blocked where I am.

    When I was traveling in China recently many sites were blocked by WiFi, but we had no problems accessing them using our mobile phones' data service. Costly, but workable.

    The Great Firewall Of China. Yes, they block sites, block ports, and censor what they don't like. Honestly, I'm surprised that Weibo even exists.

    We have that here in Dubai, get yourself a VPN and you can surf the net trouble free!
