Now, why the hell, would the governors husband be involved in anything with staffing/personnel issues?

"Republican efforts to delay the probe until after the Nov. 4 election were thwarted when GOP state Sen. Charlie Huggins, who represents Palin's hometown of Wasilla, sided with Democrats. "

This is telling news isn't is caslon !!! I'll be there is enough to this story that the congressman up there in her area felt they couldn't afford to cover it up. I read yesterday that this case investigation is supposed to be on a fast track to completion in a few short weeks so it isn't seen as being stalled for the elections sake. This is why its good for "we the public" to put pressure on these politicians by blogging, letters to the editors, calls to congressmen and etc., so they don't get away with as much.

I couldn't find this anywhere else, so i posted it here...if it's already posted somewhere else apologies.

Basically, my understanding is that under the Alaskan constitution, the governor appoints the three-person Personnel Board.

Yep, from what I gathered, Sarah Palin's administration wants the investigation turned over to 3 person Board that she hand picked rather than being conducted by an independent, impartial investigator. Gee I really wonder what their conclusion would be? icon_rolleyes.gif

    What a load of BS.
