Good As You's Jeremy HooperNOM Exposed has learned that the National Organization For Marriage has purchased (at least) four domain names all built around the idea that some gay people are against marriage equality...

The obvious intention is to stir up yet more intra-human division, a notion that has come to define the National Organization For Marriage in 2012.

Maybe NOM is just seeking a more realistic name for themselves! icon_razz.gif

Like has been said many times before: We are our worst enemy.

Straight people are rooting (and voting) for us. It's the gays (more specifically, the closeted and Republican gays) who are voting against us.

NOM must have stumbled upon this blog:
    http://queerkidssaynomarriage.wordpress.com/

queer kids say no marriage It’s hard for us to believe what we’re hearing these days. Thousands are losing their homes, and gays want a day named after Harvey Milk. The U.S. military is continuing its path of destruction, and gays want to be allowed to fight. Cops are still killing unarmed black men and bashing queers, and gays want more policing. More and more Americans are suffering and dying because they can’t get decent health care, and gays want weddings. What happened to us? Where have our communities gone? Did gays really sell out that easily?

I am trying to remember the name of this fallacy/argument, where different groups are falsely ranked against each other in order of priority in an attempt to lessen certain causes... Any savvy RJ's know the name for this?

It shouldn't be surprising that there are a tiny minority of gay men and women who oppose same-sex marriage. In the antebellum, there were blacks who owned slaves and opposed making slavery illegal. Of course they also were in a tiny minority.

Queen Victoria was opposed to equal rights for women.

For the four websites at $15 a pop, NOM should have just hired a gay masseuse. I personally know of 2 out of 200 guys that are anti-marriage and equality.

It's a false dichotomy, if nothing else. I see the point though. Although you can have both, there are more important issues out there.

The one that's cut off from the image grab above is thankchickfila . com

They really have nothing to do, do they?

Also, by going this route, is NOM officially acknowledging that gays have a right to exist?
