Study shows that the Americans who watch Fox News have an average IQ of 80, whereas the national average is 100. Researchers were not "shocked" by findings.

I am not shocked by these results about Fox News. Many of its viewers tend to be war mongering neocons or narrow minded, bible thumping screwballs. Fox News seems to serve as a right wing propaganda outfit.

I like the comment about how FOX presents "at an elementary school level"

This "study" is a little suspicious. The link on the bottom of the yahoo page directs to a previous study on news knowledge, but not the study itself. I couldn't find the "Intelligence Institute" on Google that actually fits the description.

It is satire. Yahoo News must have not realized it when they picked it up because it did not come from one of the usual fake news sites like The Onion. It was picked up from a site that lets anyone sign up for an account and put out press releases that look kind of authentic. I was just waiting for the uproar from RJ conservatives, but I forgot many of them seemed to have escaped to the tree house.

    You know.
Both righ wing and left wing folk are full of different piles of shit. One just thinks their shit don't stank while the other is just straight up offensive.

Moving on. This study is shit, Fox is shit, and most Americans don't even know their own IQ score. Even if they did, which particular IQ tests are they basing it on? Do we all take the same IQ test?
"Studies" upon "studies" these days, yet apparently, the general population gets dumber and dumber to the point of not being able to think for themselves.

    The source isn't even legit.

And some do not read the thread to see this has already been explained.

LOL! Well the claim of an average IQ of 80 did make me suspicious before I even read the article. That would make Fox viewers like Forrest Gump, except with a mean spirited bigotry side.
