As long as the hockey season is, it always seems to take forever to get to the next one. I know there are a few fanatics like myself who must be chomping at the bit to watch it again. Anybody season ticket holders or attend a lot of hometown games? I happen to be pretty close to halfway between Raleigh and DC. Love to get down to NC to see a game or two this year. Any invites?

Any predictions? Yes, I know Detroit is probably a lock........be creative.

I hope you are right shoelessj, since the Leafs are not going anywhere soon, I might as well root for the Black Hawks who have not won since 1961! I was only 4 months old at the time.

My guess? Good question, hopefully anybody but Detroit. I still think Pittsburgh has a shot, with Montreal improving fast and New York also improving.

Ya I can't wait. I was born into a TML family so TML fan I stay. Going to go see them play against Buffalo the 27th, I'm really excited for that. As for predictions... I'll likely root for the Flames, but I'd have to go with what Surreal said. I'm thinking Montreal/Pittsburgh finals.

Yup. Can't wait for the regular season to get started. Predictions? That's pretty tough this year. I'd say the Pacific will be the most competitive division. Though the Atlantic won't be far behind. Personally, I don't think Chicago will be nearly as strong as many people think, but they will likely squeeze out Nashville, Colorado, and Minnesota for one of the bottom playoff spots (with Phoenix taking the other final spot) in the West. The East is much more difficult for me. Montreal is looking good, but so did NY last year.

My long shot call? Boston barely beats out New Jersey for the final playoff spot.

My not so long shot call? Detroit does even better this year. They were near unstoppable last year outside the Central division. Now they play their own div teams 6 times, it ought to be easier for them. Only 9 of their 21 losses were to non Central teams.

could any of you guys provide a link in your area regarding NHL hockey online free.

If the Owner of the Buffalo Saber's had spent more money on his team and less money trying to control the NYS senate and assembly we would have had the Stanley Cup this year.

Maybe next decade.

I think you mean "won't win" and I agree for the 42nd year in a row. Maybe before I start collecting my Old Age Security at 65 they will be sipping from Lord Stanley's mug, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Hmmm. Wish I knew of some good ones for ya. There are a ton of free internet "radio" sites to pick up on any level, but I personally don't know of any free video sites.
