It was a reported issue that has been fixed. There's also many other problems with Google Maps like attributing land to countries it does not belong to. No maps is perfect. Google Maps > Maps but that does not make it flawless in any possible way.
I think it is ridiculous that these people didn't realize that where they were headed was not in fact their intended destination. There had to have been warning signs.
Issue number two. What the fuck happened to actual maps? As far as I'm concerned this is just another way of thinning out the herd.
LMAO people walking miles through that park in search of cell service because they don't know how to read an actual map or weren't smart enough to buy one just in case that maybe just maybe your phone could die or your gps could take a shit on you.
