For me it's "Christmas Portrait" by the Carpenters and "A Christmas Gift for You" from Phil Spector.

I completely agree with McQueen. It's now my all-time favorite.

Believe it or not, my second favorite is from about 3 years ago - Target's Sounds of the Season... It was like $5 for the CD and you could only buy it at Target.

It is where Goo Goo Dolls' Better Days came from, but there are a lot of good songs on that CD. A great mix of Christmas Carol covers and new songs.

    A Carnegie Hall Christmas
(Kathleen Battle, Frederica von Stade, Wynton Marsalis, with Andre Previn conducting the Orchestra of St. Luke's)

It's 20 years old now and still just as awesome each year.

I don't really celebrate Christmas, but I will say the best album is A Christmas Story by Point of Grace.

I love their version of Carol of the Bells/What Child is This

    Or some Trans Siberian Orchestra

The Phil Spector Christmas Album is my favorite. If you haven't heard it, get a copy (or just click below...). The "Wall of Sound" never sounded so good.

You stole my answer (icon_biggrin.gif), so I'll add "We Three Kings" by The Roches.

I second "Christmas Portrait" by the Carpenters. I never get tired of listening to her beautiful voice.

    Letsee. So many...

Most recently, Michael Buble's Christmas. His All I Want For Christmas is You pulls my heartstrings. Can sooo relate. icon_sad.gif

    Andrea Bocelli's My Christmas

    Josh Groban's Noel.

And then obviously classics like Bing Crosby's White Christmas, Frank Sinatra, etc.

And OF COURSE: NAT KING COLE. icon_cool.gif
