In other words, you can't win, so just give up. Not surprising from the weakling, defeatist Carter. He never ceases to embarass America.

What is this? A 40 year war on Americans? Of course we should not be fighting people who want to smoke a little pot. This is the stupidest war since we were lied into Iraq for cheap oil.

Hopefully the feds will keep their noses out of Washington and Colorado and we can see what legalization looks like, which I am guessing will mean more in taxes, less crime and a lot nicer group of stoner hippies. If we could get mean spirited drunks and meth heads to start smoking legal weed, this uptight country will be a much nicer place. Maybe this could be one of those issues that the republican party could take up, a true states right issue that would show the republicans are not just child molesting hypocrites.

    That's what I'd call "silly"

Prohibition is a losing fight, with a lot of casualties. I don't see what purpose it serves. People who want to smoke weed will smoke it, either way. It would be like trying to outlaw sex.

This, although it looks like Santa is boning his puppy. Just saying, then again, Santa looks like a mean drunk.

Prior to around 1937 it was legal and we survived just fine.

    Next ... peyote!
