    For anyone who cares to notice I am now now officially single (although not exactly re-entering the dating pool) and no longer living in Dublin.

    If anyone had asked me a week ago I would have been excited but now i'm standing here airline tickets in my hand, almost all my stuff packed away it's all too real.

    went out last night my boyfriend had a sticker on announcing he was seeking a date for a gay charity prom so I believe he's accepting applications to for everyone who claims there are not enough hot single guys out there.

    I'm all teared out and ready to join the world known as the united states of America

    This post made me very sad. Hopefully you will find a great guy in the USA after you settle down and find your feet. I don't blame you for not wanting to date right away though.

    * hugs *

    Warm beaches and hot guys await you. Hopefully that will provide plenty of distractions, along with school.

    Welcome in advance to SoCal. San Diego's weather is a tad less dreary than Ireland's, I'm guessing. And hopefully you'll find the same of San Diego men. If not, there's always Los Angeles. Good luck on starting this new chapter to your life.

    I'm here, I'm exhausted, I made it in one piece

    it's not that i didn't want to move but you think you're emotionally prepared for something and then when it comes...not so much

    My cell phone on the other hand is somewhere in either San Fransisco airport/ a Virgin America plane. Normally I would be incredibly pissed off about that but i've reached the stage where all I can do is laugh icon_lol.gif

    Well it is good you still have your sense of humour. Congratulations on arriving safe and sound (and avoiding those parts of the US that seem to be plagued with hurricanes right now).

    Welcome to the USA! It is sad how everything turned out with your boyfriend. I guess you can look at your move as turning a new page in your book of life and starting a new chapter. You are actually at an exciting time, new country, new city, new opportunities as you complete your degree at SDSU! You are in a beautiful place with great people! I loved living in San Diego! Best of luck to you and know you have people pulling for you! You will do well!

    Well we don't have much of a talent for singing a capella in neighborhood pubs like the Irish do, but there are compensating factors here I suppose. Larger apartments being one.

    Now make sure to get out there and wander around making eye contact with all the cute boys!

    Then come back here and report!

    Well take a break and take a walk along the beach. The weather is still nice for it. Maybe pacific or mission beach. Also there is lots of hiking. Get out and enjoy the weather.
