There are times I don't notice a pair needs to be replaced until I am folding laundry and find a tear at the waistband.

When I get sick of a certain style or if it starts wearing out which ever comes first. I buy CK, 2xist, Jimy, AussieBum, GinchGong and XXX so they have a tendency to last awhile. Especially CK, it takes years to wear out. With underwear you do really get what you pay for, it is not just style or the name brand.

Since I free-ball 90% of the time, I rarely have to buy underwear all that often.

I buy underwear when I feel like it.

Normally when I become single, or get a new bf or 'anniversaries'.

God, I can be such a girl sometimes.

I buy it about once every three months. But undershirts a little more often, because I only brought v-necks with me to Mexico and they have become unflattering over time.

I used to keep a pair of lucky underpants (high-end and newish), but down here nothing witchy seems to work.

I like to buy a new pair every 2-3 weeks, but it really depends on if I see something that I really like or think is really cute. Going to the gym, I end up wearing at least 2 pair a day, but I don't have to do laundry as often the more underwear I have.

I buy new underwear waaaay too often. And now I have so many pairs that none of them are really wearing out. But I keep on buying. I have an unnatural fascination for briefs, I guess.

I buy when I get good deals on freshpair.com. Once in awhile they have good clearance items and you can stock up for awhile. I have too many as well.

My BF started me on a total underwear fetish. Where as I'd rather see him nude, he's got a thing for undies and jockstraps. CK and 2xist are my faves. I've got healthy cheeks, and they cover them nicely without riding.

But because of my newfound obsession, if they're on sale, sexy looking, in my size, and in any color other than white I buy them.

So again, I buy new underwear too often.

I only buy new underwear when I really need it. Why should I waste money on additional underwear that I don't really need.

With my weight loss, quite often actually. It's become kind of a habit. I suppose every three weeks on average. That seems often in my opinion.

I have been wearing Tommy Hilfiger "action briefs".. which are great. They have now been discontinued and I have a supply of about 15 new pair that haven't been opened.

I'll have to find something that I really like, it may take awhile.

As someone with a serious underwear fetish, I buy it when I happen to see something new I like or the old favs are on sale like the the CK button fly boxer-briefs at the outlet store when I happen to be near Oxnard,

Ditto, I love the stuff, if I am ever running low I'm waaay past laundry day. I'm digging the andrew Christian stuff, but the superfine cotton trunks from D&G are incredible, I know it's a brand, but they fit and feel incredible I can't help it.

Omg, you dont even KNOW!! Underwear is just as important to me as new shoes.

Just because people dont see them on you 100% of the time, unlike other clothes, doesnt mean you dont look DAMN FINE in them! haha

I can relate. Last year I got to the point where I had to limit myself to one order a month. I was even reading underwear blogs and underwear review sites. I guess I was overcome by the fact that underwear could be comfortable and didn't have to be white.

Cos... you'll love the Aussiebums. Once you start buying them, you'll never stop.

Once or twice a year. I'm kind of cheap, so always after Christmas, when stores are offering deals on boxers with snowflakes and candy canes.

Anytime I find myself in Nordstrom, Dillard's or Macy's, I will hit the underwear dept. If I find a pair I just MUST have, I buy them. You can't pass up a good pair when you see them! LOL

Whenever I don't want to do laundry. I do what I call a bachelor laundry and buy socks and underwear. Not to often, I have more than enough. And I am to cheap to buy the fancy stuff. Maybe when I loose some more weight.

I buy underwear when I need to. Same with socks, shirts, pants. Maybe being bi leaves me out of the whole clothes thing. LOL

When the old ones either won't stay on any more or no longer contain everything.

I don't buy underwear very often - I have a lot - and they don't wear out all that often because I go commando so much of the time (under khaki slacks - sort of what I wear a lot around here).

I get Hanes and Rips for free, but I buy Calvins sometimes.

They are awesome!! drawstring, better than boxers they don't ride up the legs and feel like nothing on. The regular ones are like anyother underwear.

On aussiebum, what is the little pocket for in the pouch? I don't mean to seem obtuse, but it's too small to fit everything in it. Is it just for your sack?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I buy new underwear a lot.

The reason it's embarrassing is because my two dogs have a rather annoying habit of running off with my underwear when I take it off to get in the shower and playing tug of war with it to the end that it is destroyed by the time my 6-minute shower is over.

Maybe you should shake the 'biscuits' out before you jump in the shower.

I agree 2xist are really good and so are CN2. Those are the two I have and I usually stock up when they have their end of the year sale. very cheap then and they last a good time.

Yeah, those permanent skid marks that can't seem to be bleached out no matter how hard you try.

I go to Target and buy fitted square cut boxers. Something like 3 for $10. I'm not into that designer fancy smanshy stuff. I buy about 20 at a time and keep them for a few years.

Rarely.... get some as gifts and buy new ones when the current ones wear out..... haven't bought underwear in about 5 years and only 2 of the 14 pairs i own have holes...i usually wear 1 pair per day (always wear a jock to workout) I have a few novelty pairs for "dates"

under armour, sportsman, and jockstraps are my three undergarments of choice. under armour is very durable.

I bought some really cute Hanes at Target, they have a contrasting color band at the waist and the legs.
