Tips - Dumbbell Flys - how not to not to strain the shoulders.

    You can reduce shoulder rotation (and not strain the shoulder) if you allow for a bend in the elbows at the bottom of the movement. Do not allow your upper arm to break too far below the plane of the bench; the goal is to build the pecs, not to strain the shoulders.

    that's good advice...I often find myself not feeling enough resistance and "burn", that lets me know my workout is challenging enough to strengthen and take my strength / mass level higher when using more comfortable Lbs for dumbbell I'll keep that in mind if I'm using a heavier dumbbell, I need to focus on that fluidity you're mentioning and not just trying to bang out reps.

    any other advice for really pushing oneself on dumbbell flies in all their variations?
