Just moved to west Texas a few months ago and looking for friends to go backpacking, camping, skiing with. Just wondering if there's any guys around here that enjoy that. Cheers!

I try to get to Ruidoso or Santa Fe at least once a year, usually in March/April, to snowboard. Depending on schedule, I'd possibly join a group for backpacking in Big Bend too.

I've looked into doing both in one big triangular road trip. It could be cool.

Just finished a trip to Big Bend. Fantastic place if you like the desert. (I do) Not sure if I would go in the summer months. Bring extra fuel (gas) and water.
