I feel very stupid when it comes to working out and I feel as if it's a complicated science that everybody understands, but I will not understand until I get a specific structured workout plan that would make sense to me for me to do.

Of course I want a muscular body, abs, the works, but I really don't know how to do much of anything. I haven't worked out in a month due to work, final exams and homework filling up all my time, but now with the coming semester being more free, I know I have time to workout and I am dedicated. My previous workout was to use a couple machines each targeting chest, shoulders, and triceps one day, legs and biceps and back another. Plus twenty minutes of running. I don't really think my past workout was that efficient towards building muscle, but I don't know what else to do.

There's so many workout plans out there, I just don't know what to do to build muscle and get rid of excess fat. I'd like to do P90X but I don't really have any resources or room at home to do that, and I'm a member at my university gym and planet fitness too. I'd be much more comfortable if someone could point out a specific gym workout I should do just by looking at how my body is.

I'm posting pics on my profile to show you guys that I really am clueless on what to do at my current state and that i'm in need of desperate help. This is an opportunity for me to start fresh and I hope I can choose something right for me.
