He lost weight for his role in Zero Dark Thirty. He said he did it in 5-6 months. But then he gained 60 lbs for another role after it. lol. He's still very handsome even as a big guy.

yeah, when i saw the trailer for zero dark thirty, i didn't even recognize him.

he's undergone alot of morphing for roles/aging , remember when he was the hot highschool jock on everwood?

he seemed like a completely different person.

I like watching him but that parks & rec show was a train wreck, the writers never lived up to the talent on that show. hope he has a successful transition to film.

I always thought he was hot in Parks and Rec., even as a bit chubby. But wow, that's hot!

Put about a half a million dollars on the line, and you'll get there.

If the fat ass managed to keep the weight off ... better yet, if the fat ass was actually a SEAL at one point in his life, then I'd care.

Hollywood body morphing for million$ doesn't impress me in the least.

You couldn't pay me enough to put on that much fat. On the other hand, I'd pay a lot of money to get that ripped. I get so jealous of these men who can so easily transform their bodies.

It's not like he's transforming himself into a lard ass for a role; he's a lard ass when he's not working. To be a true role model, he needs to stay fit when his roles don't call for obesity.

They do pay a lot of money to get that ripped. They (or the studios) can afford to higher the best trainers and nutritionists.

Yeah, just saw him on Top Chef - apparently, he's pretty soft when he doesn't have to rip up for a movie role. Still a handsome young man.

It also takes carefully prescribed steroids under strict doctors supervision. It is common practice in Hollywood

I suspected that, but I wasn't going to mention it without proof.

Apples to oranges. To compare a Hollywood flea to a SEAL is laughable.

I was in the Navy, and I was in BUDS. Sadly, I didn't make it through (honorable medical), but I do stay in touch with my old friends. I can tell you that not one of my SEAL buddies appreciated what that douchebag did for "million$". Besides, the book wasn't written for the $, it was written to slam President Obama and influence the election. Obviously, it backfired.

Oh, and my buddies are especially pissed off about the most recent incident between a rogue group of SEAL jerk offs and Electronic Arts.

To answer your first question, I'm not happy about it.

Hate is a strong word. Are you sure you meant to use it? Yes, most branches of the military have a history of swinging to the right, but there has been a significant swing in the opposite direction over the past three elections. Given the fact that the bulk of the military is made up of minorities, it's only a matter of time before the majority in the military votes Democrat.
